What do I need to legally get married?
First the couple must apply for a Marriage License at any local Municipal Office. This license is only valid for 90 days so couples must get married within the 90 days.
On the day of the wedding, a valid Marriage License must be provided by the couple.
On the wedding day the couple must also bring a government photo ID (Passport or Driver’s License) for verification and two witnesses to sign (one for Groom and one for Bride) who must also bring a government photo ID. Witnesses don’t have to be residents of Canada.
After your ceremony, your Officiant will complete and mail your marriage license to the Office of the Registrar General.
How do I get a Marriage Certificate?
Following your ceremony, usually 6-12 weeks later, a couple can apply for a Marriage Certificate as one will not automatically be sent to you by the Province.
Do you also perform weddings at City Hall?
Yes, we do at an affordable rate. We perform weddings at any location of your choice.
Can we say our own vows?
Yes depending on the package you choose! Personal vows are always a great way to inspire your guests and also bring authenticity to your ceremony and you don’t have to memorize it, you can also read it.
Can I incorporate Symbolic & traditional elements?
Yes if you want! It can be something unique to you as a couple that you would like to demonstrate to your guests. For example, unity candle, sand ceremony, tying of the knot, wine box, Filipino (cord, veil, coin & candle), jumping the broom, breaking of the glass (Jewish), and much more.

YES! Your booking is confirmed once your deposit payment is made and the contract is signed, this binds you to all the terms and conditions on your contract & invoice.
Do I need a rehearsal?
This is optional! If you are the type that wants to know exactly how things will flow, this is for you. To reduce the stress and confusion for both you and your wedding party, we recommend having a detailed run through of your ceremony at a rehearsal. Your wedding Officiant will facilitate up to 60-minutes with your entire wedding party at your venue location. If the client wishes to have the officiant attend the rehearsal, it must be added to your package at an additional fee of $150 (+HST/GST) plus transportation depending on the venue location. Rehearsals are done Mondays-Thursdays only!
How long does the ceremony take?
It usually takes 15-30 minutes (including the entrance, ceremony, signing of the documents and recessional), but you make the call since it’s your wedding day. Of course, the length will depend on the script and any additions. The smaller packages take less time. For us, the key is the start time as our officiants may be heading off to another wedding after yours.
Do you perform destination weddings?
Yes! Just provide flight and accommodation and negotiate with your Officiant on what their fee will be.
Should I invite my Officiant to our reception?
Your wedding, your choice! We won’t take it personal if you choose not to invite your officiant to the reception, most times officiants have another wedding to officiate after yours anyway.
Can I change my wedding date and time?
Yes, you can, as long as we have availability, and enough notice has been given.
At our discretion, you may forfeit all your deposit if we are unable to accommodate your new date and time as we may have turned down other clients who requested the same time as yours. Also keep in mind that Marriage License are only valid for 90 days so you might have to get a new one.
